Lightbulb Short Runners ALL THE TIME!

Good morning everyone, does anyone here know how to get the intake plenum runners to stay short all the time. Didnt think SO! Well i have figured out how to do it with a simple 5 minute do it yourself procedure. THIS IS AN SVT ONLY MODIFICATION! The noticible TORQUE increase is very real. Our SVT Focus' computer only switches the runners to the short posisition at WOT(wideopenthrottle) @ 6000+ RPM. So we only get the benefits of the short runners for only 1250RPM. With this modification the torque increase @ 4000RPM to redline will put a grin on any SVT Focus lover face. Send me a private message and I will give you the total procedure step sy step. Also please respond to the thread so everyone can know what you think! Thanks Guys!

The all the time short runner setup has been dyno'd many times and has always shown a loss of power in low RPM's. Plus with the latest flash the runners switch at 5000 RPM's not 6000 RPM's.

Actually I ran faster at track with short runners only than I did with DSI, but that could mean track conditions and what not, but I ran 3 1/10's faster and trapped 1.5 mph higher. One thing though is you can unhook DSI cable, but then won't your motor burn out like it does when people hook up JRSC and throw a code?
