Off-Road Pipe O2 Sensor

I had a friend install a offroad pipe on my 2003 svt, and I love it.
The downfall is the check engine light has always been on since it was installed.

He installed it in his shop, and I looked at everything before he installed then he dropped off my car when it was done.

Now the problem...
1. The 02 sensor bung when I first saw it couldnt figure out how he was going to install it because it didnt look like it'd match up to the two sensors on the cat. But when he dropped off my car he said he put it on but the check engine light was on reguardless.

2. Today I jacked up my car just to check everything underneath and I didnt notice the 02 Bung thing on either of the sensors on the off-road pipe, just the sensors plugged into it.

-> Does anyone have a picture of the o2 bung installed on a off-road pipe? Maybe its in a different place? A picture of it installed would help AN EXTREAME amount so I could figure if he just threw it away so I could buy a new one and install it correctly, or its just installed wrong...

But....does the sensors just plugged into the Off-road pipe as is, create a problem if I just left it? I understand the check engine light would be on, and that would be okay if it didn't distort my engine.... I dunno what to do?

Thanks for the help, as always

The O2 cheater just plugs in to the wire harness, the other end plugs into the end of the O2 sensor. I have the ORP and have no problems at all to date. You might want to recheck to see if you friend actually installed the cheater, it should be on the back O2 sensor.

Well I'm not going to make any promises but I will try and get a picture for you. Contact whomever it was you purchased your ORP from and ask them about a reorder on the cheater. I would only do this after you question your friend as to where your original is at. Not to mention I would def ask on why he did not install the cheater.

Thanks for the reply r&d
The Focus Central ORP kit for the SVT is supposed to come with the O2 cheater, at least all the ones I've sold does. You should contact who you bought the ORP from and ask them why it didn't come with the O2 cheater. Maybe it was just an oversight...
