Drilled/Slotted rotors

Has anyone ever felt the need to move away from the oem brake system? I want to get some drilled slotted rotors (possible bigger?) and dont know what to get. Mainly it is for looks. Any suggestions?

If just for looks, try the ebay rotors, they look cool.

For racing, you don't really wany drilled rotors anymore as they crack, unless you are willing to swap them out a lot. All you really need are slotted rotors, but they don't look cool. I think at the pinnacle of racing, F1, the rotors are carbon and slotted, but not drilled. Drilled does save weight though.

The real reason for aftermarket brakes are brake fade, or lack thereof. You want the brakes to feel the same on lap 25 as they did on lap 1. If you are interested in performance, Baer seems to be affordable. Brembo are hailed as the best, but the kits are $2500 or $2999.
