Is this your orange '04 ZX5?

Right, so I'm scoping out this competition orange 2004 SVTF ZX5 on the used car market...

Any chance one of you owned it at some point?

It was purchased in Illinois, registered in Missouri, has no apparent mods except some tint.

VIN is 3fahp30514r118260.

Was also registered in Michigan at some point in its life.

If it passed through your hands I'd be interested to hear how it treated you or how you treated it before I drop the dime to bring it home.

Thanks,
Pangloss

Would you mind telling us what the asking price is? I know a Black Euro 5 door SVT was just picked up by someone in the Seattle area with around 13000 miles for $14K.
I'm trying to follow the prices, I am getting ready to sell mine, but don't think I would take less than $14K either. I just need to hurry up and market mine, I keep changing my mind. These are such fun well optioned cars. There is no way to buy anything else that offers so much for this kind of money. I have thought about buying a new Gold Wing, but heck there more money and hot to ride in the summer, wet to ride in the rain, cold in the winter, and the air bag and ABS is an option bringing the price of the Gold Wing loaded to over $24K...too much.

FYI, there were 51 Orange 5 Door SVTFs made in 04, all of which are the Euro Edition. 2004 was the only year for the 5 Door SVTF in the colors of Orange and Yellow all of which are the Euro.....one year production runs........keeps the colors rare. Add to that the demise of SVT and the production becomes even more rare...........will they appreciate in value?
They should, but they won't. DAMN

The orange SVT looks really sweet in person, as does the yellow. When I found out they were offered in those two colors I thought they'd look ugly. Then I saw them in person and thought they were cool!

Will they appreciate in value, probably not. However, realize that there are fewer on the road these days (so it's more rare than you think).
