Talking flex pipe

does any body know the approx length and overall purpose of the flex pipe. can you safely remove it?

flex pipe

the flex pipe is just that, it allows the eng to move without braking things. if you remove it and install a hard pipe you are going to be doing alot of welding. keep it, there is no need to replace it unless its bad, cracked or torn.

what are you running for time in the 1/8 miles with your tires, i have just a little bit more done to my car and i was wondering how much they help when you go to the track.

so far, only 3 passes on the tires, and they didn't seem to help as much as I hoped... (admittedly the track was in really crap condition that night... everyone was complaining about traction problems

my best run of the three that night (last wednesday) was a 9.8 1/8 mile with a 2.4 60' time at 74.88 mph

was that with the spray or not cause i'm running 10.1 with a slightly slower 60 ft time

spray doesn't hit in the 60' time, usually.... I try to keep out of the throttle enough to have the nitrous stay off, since my tires are already prone to spinning... like I said, this is on a very dirty track
