I think it was 6-10 on a stock svt. you'd probably see more if you had more mods

it needs to be dyno tuned so you need to talk to someone with a dyno and probably a good idea to find someone who has already installed one before and dyno tuned it and knows what they're doing

You CAN put the gear on and tune it without a Dyno.....but you DO need some way to judge how the adjustments are affecting the performance.

If you are tuning for peak HP, you could do top speed runs and adjust until you hit the highest speed. But, that would require either a really nice stretch of private road or massive and repeated violations of the law.

A better way would be to do timed runs in one gear.....say, 2500 to 7000 in third on the same stretch of road. This tuning method will result in the best acelleration but may not make the most peak HP. But, if you are looking for performance it will work.

Most cars respond to the exhaust being retarded a bit from stock. Say, 4 to 6 degrees. But, and this is a BIG but, you must be sure of where you are starting from.

It is possible to be very accurate when you install the gear but also easy to be several or more degrees off after you torque the retaining bolt. If you take your time and check and double check the timings.....and do not quit until they repeatedly come up correct....you can safely start with -4 and you WILL feel a difference in the power output.

The tune matters a bunch too. My SCT X-Cal 1 from FS has ZED0 and RLA6 93 octane tunes and the RLA6 really gets it done with the exhaust retarded.

bc thats the nearest decent dyno i know of i'm in NJ if that was the case i'd be better off with the cam gear and shafdts at the same time ?
