i have the orp installed now for some time and it's fine but a little on the loud side for a road application i think. so here is the idea keep the orp on and then install a RT High Flow cat that is made for generic applications after the flex. of coarse this would involve cutting into the actually piping but i think it would work. thoughts and be kind....

funny i do chat with you folks while i'm at work and the system only accepts caps so sorry for that. it would be cost effective to put a generic app in the place they go for like 80 were as the rt is 300, right

^^^ exactly what I was thinking. Put your ORP up for sale and buy a R/T cat to replace it with, that's what I would do.

If your dead set on keeping the ORP and going generic cat, maybe you can splice it into the ORP instead. If you place the cat too far down the exhaust it won't get hot enough to do it's job, allthough it sounds like you don't care about that since you only want it to quiet your exhaust down.
