Anniversary gifts for my car, lucky b!tch.

Hey guys, the fiend here. Proud to announce that as of March 21st i will have had my car for a full year of Ford Powered bliss. its been great to me, and i've really been trying to be great back by keeping it clean, mechanically maintained, and faster step by step. So, to celebrate i've come up with quite the little barage of things to buy for her (i swear its all for her! ha ah ha!). some are needed as upcoming maintenance items, but most of them are just things that'll make her feel better about herself and raise her self esteem a little... winters got her down ya know? i forgot to get her a christmas present so i hope this makes up for it! Heres the list, don't go telling your car now, you know how these things get around.

1. Msd coil pack w/8.5mm plug wires and Denso Iridium plugs-- i think this spring will be a great time for her first real tune up. might as well do it right.

2. Hawk performance brake pads, front and rear-- the stock ones seem fine for now, but i have a feeling that buy the time summer rolls around they're gonna need replacing. less brake dust and more braking power, can't go wrong. i was gonna get the green stuff pads, but the whole "not intended for track use" kinda threw me off. i don't have a track around here, but when i drive on the secluded back roads of the rustic north, it sure as hell seems like i'm on one, and don't wanna risk it.

3. Ford Euro Grille-- I'm not much for "cosmetic upgrades" myself, but you know how the ladies are, right? this seemed like the logical place to start. i'm still looking at different pics of the two kinds (basically one has fewer larger diamonds than the other and is said to go better with the stock svt lower grille) so i can decide, but i'm having problems finding the lower euro grille. anyone got a source on the lower euro grill for the svt? all the ones i've found say "with fogs exc. svt". what gives? they don't expect us to change one and not the other. thats like getting your girlfriend one friggen diamond ear ring, right? great but, wtf!?

4. Predator PC interface kit-- Just never got around to buying the cables, the first tune seemed great, but i'd like to be able to play around with some of the options of the predator and maybe get an updated tune from Tom if i don't end up getting some dyno time in this year.

5. Aem dryflo air filter and outer wears prefilter for my CAI- I've got the knock off aem cai, which seems really nice, but i didn't exactly trust that crappy metal cone piece of crap thing that was supposed to be a filter it came with, so i'm going to replace it with aem's top of the line, new and improved dryflow filter. i can't wait to put this on this spring. these outerwears sleeves look very promising and will make me a little less paranoid about driving through puddles.

6. G-Tech Pro Performance Meter Road Racing Model-- you guys have to check this thing out on they're web page: Gtech pro homepage

click RR then check out the options and in the test drive section you can even watch a guy use it in the quarter mile. also check out the software that comes with it. looks like a lot of fun.

I don't have a dyno or drag strip or track near me, so it will indefinatel come in handy.

Well, i think thats it, sure hope she likes everything. I know I will. Let me know what you think. Later.

Yep - it's all for her. Just like buying lingerie for a woman is all for the woman.

Nice list.

cars are a lot more fun than women. i'm not gay, or abstinent but i'm so sick of the crap you put up with just to get laid.... i'm only 24 and i just don't even care about it anymore, thats how much crap i've went through. my car will never get drunk and come at me with knives, throw my tv at me, etc, etc. it loves every second i spend with her, but doesn't mind just sitting there by herself. its not my sole duty to entertain my car. if it felt as good having sex with my car, i would, my damn hand would probably enjoy the break! ha ah ha!

so does anyone know where i can find a lower euro grill for the svt? can't one of you guys in the UK go steal one for me and i'll mail you some money for it?

SVTfiend, welcome to the middle twenties. I have advise for you, stop dating women unless they are twenty five or older. I'm making a broad sweeping generalization here, but they're all retarded up until that point. Twenty five seems to be the age when they become responsible, capable human beings able to exist on their own, and thus stable enough to partner up with. Before that they are still looking for prince charming or a father figure and they believe they should be treated as princesses, not equals.

Till you find one worth looking into, stick to cars. I might be buying an A4 2.8 manual with quattro today.

..... movin' on up.... tooo the east side.... to a delux....

damn right bwojdyla. all they want from 21 to 28 or so is to party and screw anyone and everyone. then they must stop for a minute and think about the last 7 years they've wasted being a drunk whore. reality really sets in and they hook up with the first guy over 30 or 35 with any amount of money that'll give them attention. again, just generalizations... generalizations of MY experience. this leaves 30 to 40 year olds and 18-21 year olds open. they're all crazy though. all of em. don't let em fool you.
