3 door SVT Focus SVT VS 5dr SVT Focus

Has anybody raced like this??

I would imagine that there is not much difference in weight to create a substancial change

the 5 door is heavier enough that with equal skill drivers, it'll be at least half a car

60 lbs difference. The drivers of the 5 door could easly stand to lose 60 lbs.

Come on now Jeff, the extra 100 wheel horsepower does make that just a tick easier doesn't it?
Have fun at Mid Ohio. I'll be going to Sebring and Summit Point.

That was my thoght, how fat are the people driving?? IMO the same weight people and the cars only being 60LB apart would not make a diff. unless you had one person who knew how to drive and one who din't...... but thats a whole-nother topic!!

If equal drivers drove each car the 3 door would win by about 0.05 seconds...
A loss of 100lbs roughly equals a drop of 0.1 in the quarter...
