Exclamation K&N Aircharger Owners Vote Here

This poll is going to help me decide whether or not to purchase the short ram intake kit. I want to find out if you're happy with your Aircharger setup or not.

I hope we get a lot of people voting on here cause I'm basing my SRI decision on this poll too.

Most people will say to go with HIA's SRI because it's the cheapest and almost all SRI's are the same. I bought my K&N because of the brand to be honest, they've been coming out with top of the line, first on the market stuff for years and I want to keep it that way. Also there are very few users on this site who use the Aircharger.

I like the Aircharger because it seems to be the highest quality SRI I've seen from any manufacturer. I like the fact that it's not made out of metal and that it comes with a heat shield.

The SVTF just clicked over 30k miles and I performed maintenance including a Wix fuel filter and NGK V-power spark plugs. Last night I installed the used K&N Aircharger, Ebay for $125 shipped, two weeks after the plugs and filter, and I took the SVTF out on a speed run, it gives a major boost in power in the 5.5 to 6.8k rpm range. This morning I drove it to school very fuel efficiently, as I normally do, and noticed a significant amount of torque added to my lower end, for an intake of course. The little time that I have had it on my vehicle has made launching from a dead stop and cruising in city limits much more pleasant, and hard acceleration much more fun. Auditorily it makes a quiet whistling sound given enough throttle in the 2 - 4k rpm range and it simply wails in the upper rev band. I am very happy with the product, and given another chance would make the same decision all over again.
I like this intake very much, and the only other intakes that I would consider would be the Focus Sport Cool Flow and the AEM Cold Air Intake. I bought this intake for many reasons, in no particular order, composite intake tube, utilizes stock MAF sensor housing, decent heat shield and good price when found used. I didnít by the AEM because it does not utilize stock MAF sensor housing (more noise in MAF readings from aluminum carrying waves from engine) and I splash through too many puddles here in the Pacific NW (dirty filter in no time from road grime in the water). I didnít by the Cool Flow because I could not find it for anything other than the retail price, which is way too much for me, and I rather have the smooth composite bend of the K&N rather than the more ideal heat shield from the Cool Flow.
I hope this helps somebody make a decision on whether they want the K&N Aircharger or not, and sorry for the long post as this is my first.

I accidentally voted no and I meant to vote yes! I've had K&N products on 3 past cars and I definately intend to buy it for my SVT.

So disregard one of the no's.
