Clutch problems inside

All torn apart and messy ass nitrous wires before I organized them

Not good...

Exactly why I do all my own work (clutch was put in by dealer where I bought it)

:rolls eyes:

OEM clutch with only 7,059 miles

OEM flywheel

Quick cleaning & slave install

Cleanup & rear main seal install

Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel

Clutchmasters FX400 (Stage 4) Clutch

How the car sat Sunday night

None of this could have been done without my helper through out the project.

Intial Impressions: Clutch is awesome. It will definately take getting use too, but its nothing new. Flywheel is awesome. The car revs SO much more free now. I've had to get used to the fast RPM drop during driving though. Chatter is there, but I do listen to music when I drive so its not as bad as alot of people complain.

EDIT: The rear main WAS leaking, however thats not what caused my premature wear. The people whom installed my clutch did a piss poor job on the slave cylinder. One of the seals that should have looked like a O, looked like a D. It was rolled over.

Not to bad for a job done by a 16 year old and in a weekend, eh?

Thanks guys.

The new clutch does take getting used to. I think I got it down now though, I only stalled it once this morning LOL. It should be a crime for a clutch to grip this well.

jaykirs, I hate FWD clutches, but if your willing to drive to Panama City, Florida all the way from Texas, I'm willing to help you out. Just a heads up though, I'm only 16 so I may have to take 100 pictures throughout the install LOL

Does the car pull any harder with that lighter flywheel? I'm going to go with the Fidanza and a Stage 3 Clutchmasters pretty soon here.

The car pulls a bit harder since it has less weight to turn. Its more noticable the faster you go, where drag is a big factor. It revs ALOT faster.
