My first focus

Hello just bought my 2003 SVT ZX5 focus yesterday. 6 speed gertrag manual transmission ( if I'm not mistaken) as far as I know everything is stock beside the pedals and the shift knob. 137,xxx miles. Any tips or helpful advice on these cars. Any thing would be appreciated thank-you

Great find & you'll for sure enjoy it. As Anthony mentioned= any paper work on when the t/b, tensioner was replaced? If not I'd replace them asap. http://c-f-m.com has svt parts.

Carfax showed that it was done I believe 40- 50,000 miles ago. Read there good for about 70 but I'm going to be doing that soon so I know

If there's no documented proof of maintenance I would replace everything.

Water pump, tensioner, idler, tbelt, serp belt, valve cover gasket, etc.
