Spark plug & Wires

I know they don't make a huge differences , but i would lie to know what are the best and how much of a diff. would i see on my svt , because i see it as a small relatively cheap upgrade to help until I'm a little more financially stable....

From my experience on Mustangs...which should probably hold true to Foci as well, no wires work better on Fords than FRPP wires. A lot of peole also get 0-little gains from SRIs, catbacks, etc. I already ordered my FRPP wires, and they certainly won't hurt the car. Prolly smooth out the idle a little bit too. I will be doing plugs&wires, oil, fuel filter, and lower t-stat+radiator flush in the same day. Should run like a champ afterwards!

I have the MSD wires and standard plugs, I just re-gapped them to .060. It definitely seemed to help smooth out the idle. The wires were pretty cheap, I got them from Summit Racing.

A friend of mine put them on his 04, and I wasn't really impressed. It pretty much had the same feeling mine had, just cost about $110 more. Neither of our cars have ever been dynoed, so I have no idea about actual hp numbers. On this board, I have heard more negative reviews of the SD than positive.
