is it worth all the trouble with svt's

I have owned my svt for about 5 months now and there has been nothing but problems from day one. It has been in and out of the shop so many times I lost count. Today on the way to a movie I got on it in frist gear and on the shift to second it bogged down on me and died. It would not restart for about 5 minutes and when it did the heater wouldnt work the windows would not roll and the locks would not respond. About ten minutes later the windows rolled down with out me doing it. I am getting so sick of this car. Does anyone know the Oregon lemon laws or have any information on this for me. Its not to much to ask when you buy a new car that it runs like a new car is it?

It's a 2003, so if you were so "lucky" to get a true lemon, you can probably get rid of it and find a good one. If the car spent over a certain amount of time in the shop, and you have all records of it (you better!), I think, not sure here, you can take it back.

Not flaming on you, but don't look for sympathy around here. I bought my first car when I was 16 and it seemed like I was working on it everyday of the week. The best years of my life....

and besides, not all SVTs are having problems. I, for instance, have had no problems at all and I've but over 5500 miles on my car in 3-4 months. It seems as though Ford was anything but consistent with their Quality Control.

MY first car was a 93 taurus now you wanna talk about breaking down. that thing died weekly. my second car was a chevy s10, and that was a true lemon. in and out of the shop every two weeks. so we sold hte s10 and got my focus and ever since not a problem. I LOVE IT.
