Pulling codes+check engine light already!

Check engine came on this am. Had the car for like 3-4 days. Anyway I thought it had to do with the K&N drop in and removing the air silencer, cause I've heard the K&N sometimes pulls oil through to the MAF sensor and fouls it. Well it turned out I pulled PO133. Says 02 sensor, or fuel system running lean/or rich. Any Ideas or suggestions? Can you clean 02 sensors with carb cleaner?

when you put in your K&N you should disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 10 minutes so the ECU can get re-adjusted to the new air flow. the O2 sensor however, may need replaced, it's common

I've owned Cobras and GTs pushin 100K miles and some over and never once had a problem with 02 sensors. This SVTF is sucka fresh with only 41K miles and it already needs an 02 sensor? I'm more worried about the flip side with the engine running either lean or rich. Does anybody Dyno-tune SVTFs as opposed to a mailorder tune?

find someone in your area, but all the tuners dyno tune their SVTFs, along with heavy road testing with a data logger.

since it's all the same engine they try to make a base, but it's always a plus to have that base tweaked by a dyno close to home.

Absolutely! Hopefully Mike, or SVTFUCUS will chime in on who dyno tunes these cars in or around Houston.

meh, just call around to a few dynos to see who has the SCT software. wayne's got mine flawless every time, but if it is a little lean or rich at points any idiot can tick it up and down then re-run it and datalog again if they have the equipment.

Check to make sure you have no leaks from your newly installed intake.

I had an 02' with quite a few mods and had to change the 02 twice. Once before I ever modded it and once after. Lots of it has to do with the start up of the car. The car runs very rich to warm up the cat and idles high-especially noticable in colder states-like the hell hole Michigan I live in!!
