Talking Whee, new 65mm FC T/B

I am stoked, this thing looks awesome sitting in my engine bay... not to mention that it matches the rest of my Spidey Theme! Pedal feel is wonderful, much 'sturdier' than stock... install was pretty easy. It would have been VERY easy had it not been for the fact that I only ordered one band clamp and not two...

Good thing I had an extra...enjoy! I know I will!!

Looks great I bet it feels great too. I'm getting one in a few weeks from a member here. Did the clamps that came with your intake not fit over the new t/b? Or did you just order a blue one because you liked the look?

Dang that looks sweet!
I like the blue/red combo...spidey theme...

I'd like see a little more in depth performance/drivability write up as you get more miles on it.

coupler over coupler on the TB? dont they sell a single coupler so you can use the 65mm tb with a single silicone coupling?

They do, but you can go to pepboys or autozone and get a second coupler for about $3 and fit one inside the other.

Hmmm... I just swapped the couplers when I put my Steeda intake on. I put the larger one on the throttle body and the smaller one on the filter. Sure it took some stretching, but it worked for me.

Gotta love how "weird" the pedal feel is with having an aftermarket throttle body. Enjoy!

Cool, thanks for the comments guys! Let's see if I can respond to all of them...

Yes, Throttle Response is indeed increased, I just wish it would rev down as quickly as it revs up! My K&N Intake clamps were much too small to fit over the new TB, which I thought was really cool, they actuall fit inside of the opening of the TB...

FC no longer offers the TB in Aluminum Blue anymore for the SVTf, only Black...I got super lucky and snagged mine from essveetee a few days ago for a rock bottom price. Normally, they go for $250, he shipped it to me for $140...

As for the coupler inside the coupler, I didn't see any other way to hook it up... I ordered the steeda coupler from c-f-m.com for the enlarged TB and when I started messing around with installation (I had no instructions), I came to the conclusion that this was the best/most secure way to install...

I took many pics, so if you all would like me to write up a How-To, I would be glad to do so!! I know they already have one, but no offense...mine would be much more thorough and in depth...

And yes, 'weird' pedal feel is right... definitely gotta get used to that. Feels like I'm learning to drive a stick all over again...

Thanks again for all of the comments, guys... ya'll freaking rock!!
