what is the YFRO tune?

hey ive seen were a couple of you guys have gotten the YFRO tune from ford, just wondering what the tune is like and is it worth getting till i get my sct tune after i get all my aftermarket parts on? and what will it change on my car, like the rev limiter, DSI, and power? last question how much is it? i no longer have a warranty. thanks guys later.

Get an aftermarket tune if you really want to feel the change. YFRO doesn't change much just fixes *somewhat* the issues. Supposedly its not very good though, SVT and Ford kind of did a crappy tuning job. Aftermarket tuning is awesome, if you really want it to change (and the parameters you've specified) you can have the tuner do that for you. Read some of the reviews at the top of the page, I know I'm more happy with the car than ever, best $300 I've spent in my life!

Also, its going to cost you about 100-150 dollars for the tune from Ford if you're no longer under warrenty. And what parts are you waiting to put on? You can just toss the tune on now and add the parts later, its going to have the same effect either way.
