Stock flywheel with aftermarket clutch good idea?

I was thinking about retaining the stock flywheel because i didn't want the gear noise, anyone think this is an otherwise BAD idea? I do want the freeer revving flywheel but im not sure i can live with the gear noise.

i also hear the stock flywheel would also drive a lot better too

I have heard from Wayne that This combo is very well one of the best. He has a customer running a JRSC for over a year on this and many hard launches. I was going to do this, but Ford would not install an aftermarket clutch for me under the warranty.

I wouldn't see any problems with that combo. The heavier duty clutch should be able to handle that dual mass flywheel much better than the stock flywheel. I don't know if I personally would leave it in there.

I took mine out because i had the infamous "tranny rattle" which is i believe is a bolt in the stock flywheel rattling lose, so i replaced mine with a fidanza. I didnt like how long it took to rev up with the stock flywheel anyways.

The gear noise is mostly at idle, rattling when the clutch is not pressed in. Also, when in gear and you let off the gas, you can hear the rollover. Also, I asked this ? about 6 months ago when I replaced my clutch and the general consensus was that it was a bad idea. The Dual Mass Flywheel is a huge part of the clutch problems. If it is killing stock clutches, do you want to spend the money on clutch+labor for the flywheel to kill your new clutch prematurely too??

Its basically just a rattle, you really only notice it at idle sitting still. The added noise i dont mind at all, the only it annoys me is when im sitting at a drivethrough and it echos off the wall.
