How many miles per gallon are you getting? I am averaging between 19 and 20 MPG in mainly stop-and-go traffic nearly all the time. On the highway, I get around 34 MPG at 70 to 75 MPH.

Do this, fill your tank, set your trip odometer to zero, drive until you get down to maybe a 1/2 tank, fill back up. Note the amount of gas it took to fill back up. Let's say for sake of argument it takes 6 gallons. Devide the Mileage on the trip OD by the quantity it took to fill back up and that will tell you how many MPG you are getting. Let us know.

check your tire pressure..... and define the type of driving you do. 60miles of redling shifting will net you poorer mileage than conservative shifting(obvious but you didn say how you drive)

If you're only going 30 miles on $10 worth of gas, then something is seriously wrong. I would guess that there is a leak somewhere, because there is no way your engine is actually using all that gas.

So hypothetically if you fill up and get 12 gallons in your 13 gallon tank you only got 5 MPG!!! There is something wrong big time, if your 2.0L 4 is sucking up more gas than an 8.3L V-10 in a Viper you need to get to the dealer or shop quick.
So either someone is syphioning your gas on you or most of your gas is leaking out of the car somewhere, check all the fuel lines and fuel filter and make sure its not spraying gas out anywhere while its running. You would more than likely smell it very strong if it was leaking. Watch where your parking cause I've heard that people syphioning gas has become worse with prices on the rise, so watch out. Good luck with this though.

Yea man that's totally crazy. Look for a leak, and you'll have to look quickly given that gas evaporates. If it's something w/ the engine, I'm pretty sure you'd be hearing/seeing/smelling something. I get over 3 times that kinda gas mileage when I'm being really really mean to my car.

Yikes thats really bad, I'm getting about 24mpg half city half highway at about 60mph, my fiance does most of the driving because we only have 1 car and she has not been driving like a maniac, I was getting about 20 then ran some seafoam in the gas tank and it bumped it to the 24, I'v bought new spark plugs and have been meaning to put them in and to get a new fuel filter and install that and clean my maff and check my airfilter but I havnt had a day off without my fiance lately and she doesnt want me working on the car if we have the day off together. Let us know what they find at the dealership I'v seen a lot of posts about bad mileage and these cars are supposed to get really good mileage.
