Leaking Oil?

http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...30_24_full.jpg

My svt is leaking a very small amout of oil out of the valve cover. Right where the black liner is to seal it. Is this normal? Its not a lot just a coating on the seal. Look at the picture if you dont understand me.

Very common leak, just replace the gasket, and all is good again (for a while anyway)

Same here, but it's from the side near the coil pack, I don't really worry much about it. It only became a large stain on the drive way when I left the car sitting for a whole week to go to dallas once.

You're still under warranty, go get your valve cover gasket replaced. While they're there, have them check around the VCT (Variable Cam Timing) solenoid.

I've had FOUR valve cover gaskets: at 3000, 6000, 12,000 and 15,000. The latest one seems to be holding; wow, 3,000 miles and no burned oil stench!

You've got a new car, it ought to work right, not leak oil and not stink. Use your warranty.
