6 speed Getrag noise issues

I have a CM 4 and Fidanza Flywheel and am wondering what kind of noise other people are getting from the Alum. Flywheel? It is pretty quiet on acceleration but deceleration you can hear the gears spinning or rolling over pretty bad. How bad is everyone elses. It is just a bit annoying and wanted to make sure I'm not alone here.

This is what I will be trying to avoid when I eventually have to replace my clutch. I want an alluminum flywheel and good clutch but I want it to be quiet, noise like that would drive me nuts, I'm funny that way LOL

Hey man I'm with you on that too, I thought about a light flywheel but the more I hear people talk about how it makes a lot of noise, I am kind of weary.

I have had mine on for over 35,000 miles and have loved every minute of it, yes it makes more noise than stock but you will get over it in a couple of months . It was a lot worse before they started making clutch discs with sprung centers (I had the stock clutch disc and pressure plate on the aluminum flywheel for 25,000 of those miles!)

There are so many of them out there just find someone in your area with one, go for a ride and make up your own mind. I would not go back to stock on a bet, and I don't have to worry about when my dual mass flywheel is going to blow up and take the transaxle with it.

oh my god, the noise is annoying... but howeever you do get used to it... I've had mine for a couple months now and the sound still bugs me... but I also freak out if I hear a squeak bump or rattle that wasnt there when I got the car...

Please expand on these exploding flywheels, I've never heard of such. You've got me a little worried now, I can't afford to replace anything right now.

I am assuming the flywheel is the culprit for the noise.
It could be the 4 puck disk as well. Oh well, I had to pay the price for a little performance.
