you can slip the clutch out from some people say 2500-3k rpms.
Wheel hop is what sucks if you just wanna dump the clutch....when I first got my car it would dead hook when I dropped it...definately not anymore.

first make a traction controll kill switch cause you don't want that b/s kicking in. hold revs at about 4 and drop it quick to the take up point, then ease it out a little slower. some wheel spin is ok in the low revs (3000-4000) but you want to be hooked up by 5000 rpm. shift hard at 7200-7400 ish and try to catch good revs in second (it's hard cause second sucks. too tall) if you can get your 60' time down to about 2.2-2.3 you should be in for a good dash.

Here's what mommy should have told you to do when you downshift:
1. Step on the clutch
2. Simultaneously slide the shifter into a lower gear and give the throttle a quick, amazingly precise jab to rev the engine to exactly the rpm it needs to be at in the next gear
3. Quickly let out the clutch

Oh sure, It takes a few thousand tries before you get the timing and precision of your jab just right, but the reward is that you no longer suck.

i hate that traction control. I pulled the fuse out, and maybe im not doing it right, but i didnt notice a difference. Maybe im just used to the ZX3. Anyway Im just gonna get Waynes tune, and disable it alltogether.

The additional torque at 2500 with a tune will help your launch a LOT. Not nearly as many revs needed to keep from bogging so the tire spin is reduced and the clutch is happier too!

be forewarned. it will disable your ABS and will also make your brake biasing 50/50 front to rear so braking will be affected dramaticly. locking them up in a panic brake could put your car in a spin. not something you want to do on the street, unless you just want to do burnouts or something but that is illegal so you shouldn't do that either
