does it run bad(missing or hesitation?)

have you recently had a no-start or extended cranking condition?

you probably have fuel in the oil, this isn't too uncommon if you have recently had any of the symptoms from above. If unburnt fuel gets into the cylinders, it will drain past the gaps in the pistonrings eventually, soaking into your oil.

First thing I would do is change the oil, and then clear the car of any old PCM codes. Drive it for a few days, and then scan the car for any codes (especially if the Check Engine light comes on, but do it anyway, in case a soft code pops up)

A lot of times, nothing will show up, and the smell, vapors etc appears to go away after changing the oil. If this happens, I would not worry too much about it and chalk it up to the car having dumped a bit of fuel at some point during a startup of cranking the engine over a few more times than normal.

I'd go get a compression test done to make sure that everything is sealing up properly.

Cat might be clogged aswell.....although I dont know if cats are the same us vs uk.
Id hope it was the cat if I were you....

I bought a decomissioned cop car for $300 with the same symptoms. $15 in parts later I had a hell of a good running car.
