warranty work= detail?

hello, has anyone actually dropped thier svtf off for work and had it come back all shiny and new? i dropped off my car to get reflashed and it was just as dirty as when i dropped it off.. ? the svt book says they should clean it....

Just tell them to clean it. I'm sure the guys at the dealership hate me because I keep stinking up their dealership but oh well. Hopefully I'll grown on them. If they aren't SVT certified they may not know. I think the service writer calls the shots so tell him.

Most don't seem to know about it. It is written in your owners manual. I just have it marked so that I can open it up and show them. I would remind them when you drop the car off.

In my experience they won't clean the car unless you tell them you want it cleaned. It's definately not the nicest car wash but it's FREE so oh well.
I sold the SVT and now have a 3! Have a Egg Yolk Yellow ZX3 still. :)
