Squeaky starts- what is it?

Sometimes when I'm starting out of first, and I give it a bit of gas (but not flooring it), I hear some sort of squeaking noise coming from my car. It's very high-pitched, and only lasts a few seconds while I'm giving it a good amount of throttle. And it's not right on the start, more like around 2k or 3k rpm's. Not only that, but it only happens once awhile, quite sporadically. I'm entirely confused.

Any ideas as to what this is? I hope hope hope that it's not the clutch, tho the only time I ever heard it was right after Ford replaced it. Then it went away, but now it's back, so I'm worried that I need to have it looked at.

I have had the same problem. The noise started after the original clutch was replaced with the new revised TSB clutch. For what it's worth, the only time I've heard the noise was driving the car for the first time after it had sat for at least a few days without being driven. I haven't heard it lately at all, even though the car has spent a lot of time sitting, so... not sure exactly when or why it happens, but I've had it too.

what about something as simple as a the serpantine belt? Belts when they are just about to go they start to squeek everyone once in a while under acceleration at a certain RPM. Then once the the belt gets older it squeeks more and more.

I get a very quick chirp at start up as well. More than likely it is the belt, just too lazy to change it.

It's not the belt - I had another, unrelated noise and the dealer replaced the belt and the belt tensioner to try to get rid of the noise (turned out it was the catalytic converter falling apart inside that was making the noise), and every once in awhile after they had already done the belt I still heard the noise from the clutch. I have no idea why it does it, but I'm fairly certain that it is the new clutch - I'm 100% positive I never heard that noise before getting the new clutch. It's much sharper and more "metal to metal" sounding than a belt squeal. It'll cause you to back off the gas pedal REAL fast, that's for sure.
