cel on, then off, now on again.

on may 14th my Check engine light came on and i diagnosed it myself as being the DSM not working. but about 24 hours later, the light dissapeared so i took it up to red line and sure enough the DSM was working again. Yesterday (5/24) the light came back after some hard driving and low and behold the DSM stopped working again. It hasn't come back yet but i was wondering if you guys think it's in a slow process of crapping out on me. it seems like more of an electical problem than a mechanical problem. it doesn't make any weird noises when it should engage, it just doesn't switch over. Lemme know what you think.

Here's what mommy should have told you to do when you downshift:
1. Step on the clutch
2. Simultaneously slide the shifter into a lower gear and give the throttle a quick, amazingly precise jab to rev the engine to exactly the rpm it needs to be at in the next gear
3. Quickly let out the clutch

Oh sure, It takes a few thousand tries before you get the timing and precision of your jab just right, but the reward is that you no longer suck.
