Tons of problems

I got my 02 SVTF through an auction in Daytona, Fl and turns out there are a few things wrong with it. I just took it to the dealership & it needs a new clutch, flywheel and pressure plate. It also needs work done on the intake manifold. Its gonna run me about $3,000 to get it all taken care of. Dont really know why im posting this lol just thought I would share this bad news.

He probably has the problem I had, a whole new intake manifold was needed. How many miles on it, and also...the question I have to ask, how much did you pay for it?

It has 53k mi and i got it for $10,000. I think the problem was the guy before me just didnt take good care of it. We also checked out the engine compression ratios and it seems to be fine, so hopefully this will be the only thing wrong w/ it for a while.

Get an aftermarket clutch and flywheel for sure. Much better quality for your money.

I can do all that with a better clutch for much less and im also in NC

Clutch / PP 469.00
Fly 355.00
Install of all of the above 450.00

Intake dont know till i know what is wrong with it but would say could do it for half the cost your looking at now and end up with a much better clutch Assy.

Tom
