new intake

My SVTF is less than a month old, and I'm ready to start upgrading it. I wanted to start off by adding a new intake, I was wondering what type and brand to get. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have an AEM intake and I love it... However, you may want to contact Wayne (Hypnotic) on these boards. He is selling a new intake which is reportedly very good quality. He also gives the best customer service. Had I not already bought an intake, I would buy his.

EDIT: Even I'm not that much of a bastard. Check out the search feature using phrases like "svt intake", or sri / cai in the SVT performance section. Lot's of great information exist already on this site and to be honest I think that every single aftermarket intake for the SVTF has been discussed, at least twice. If it were my money I'd look into the K&N Aircharger

I've got the K&N Short Ram Typhoon. It looks, performs, and sounds wonderful...but, I probably should have held off for Wayne's Intake...

I've taken all of the replies into consideration, and decided on an AEM short ram. Does anyone have any suggestions of a good online store to buy it from? Thanks again.

I've got the k&n short ram which is cheaper than the AEM and does the same thing. Works and sounds wonderful!

I do my business with www.c-f-m.com

They have deals every month, lots of free shipping, and I find that their prices are some of the lowest. I got my s**** K&N Typhoon SR from them, and it's awesome. There's actually not much difference between the AEM and K&N...

isnt short ram a bad idea? wouldnt CAI give more HP....since the short ram would be absorbin all da hot air from the engine...but the CAI would get fresh cold air from da outside?
