Cool my svt dealer

2003 SVTF took my car in for an oil change today. there was a new service advisor that i had not seen before, he saw my car and asked what he could do. told him i needed the oil changed. he asked me what was my build number and i told him, he says that ford had just released a new flash for my car i told him it was a 2003 he said i know. so he takes the info off the door jam runs it through the computer and confirms theres an update. by now i am laughing cause he dosn't know what's under the hood. bottom line is there is a new flash out to deal with the hard starts, high revs after a warm restart, and the bogging off the line. my wife will get the number tomorrow from the service manager when she gets to work.

here we go, cust. states that when taking off from light vehcile boggs
when warm restarting engine races, refer to tbs for reflash ccd50
CC 42 12A650 reflash PCM
WDS quick test/ pinpoint test Z/ no codes mil off/ data logger/ fuel pres test 40 psi pass/ reflashed pcm per ssm 16718/ final quick test pass. hope this helps who ever is having these and the surging when cold, hard starts when cold, problems. this is right off the service invoice.

What is the PCM code they used? It should be on a sticker under your hood.

SVT claims there has been no new flash for around a year, yet my dealer also claimed they did a new reflash, I think all they did was disconnect the battery and wrote a regular focus flash code.
