Humidity = Bogging

I dont know if anyone else has noticed this, but our car seems to be real effected by humidity in the air. The other evening it was foggy and about 70 degrees out and my car almost stalled out at every light. I had to rev the crap out of it to get it to go anywhere. Before I had a car with a V6 and never noticed it being effected by humidity or anything...maybe its cause its a 4 cylinder?? Anyone have similar experiences??

Welcome to my life. It gets HOT and HUMID in Houston, so I feel your pain. I used to live in Pennsylvania, so I have a good basis for comparison...NIGHT AND DAY difference. Even here, the car runs sooo much better when we get some rare dry air. The heat is one thing, but I've noticed that the humidity is worse for the car.

Just picture sitting heat soaked in bumper to bumper traffic, 100+ degree heat, 90% humidity, A/C cycling....trying to get the car moving again is a real feat!

Dood, Turn on the AC when ur driving. You can floor it and it literraly goes NO WHERE. Its scary. I dunno if its just the Tune but when i turned on the AC this last week it was about 98 here in New mexico, but i felt unsafe with it on, because the car wouldn't do anything if you gace it gas. The AC sucks in our cars.

No, the AC takes away power, but it doesn't kill the car. The UDP and tune make the car faster w/ the AC on than it was before w/o the AC. I was just making a point....

BTW, even if you have your AC turned on, the car has a WOT switch that disengages the AC compressor under heavy acceleration
