ORP help......

I recently bought a FC ORP and it sounds great and i have the MIL sensor piece on but my check engine light came on today and i had the code read and 2 codes came up O2 sensor heater malfunction bank1, and bank 2 the guy told my at the parts store that it was both of my O2 sensors settin it off and i don't know what to do it would be great if someone could help me out......

the dude at the parts store is trying to rip you off and make you buy something you don't need. our cars only have an inline 4, thats bank 1.
now a v6 or v8 have banks 1&2 (v configuration) and each side of the motor has a sensor.
sounds like your upstream may be bad. I'd replace that.
but the downstream is fine since your using a mil eliminator. downstream does nothing but monitor the condition of the catalytic converter. thats why your using the mil eliminator.

easy fix, get a hypnotic or tom's tune...if not, then did you put the mil elim on the 2nd o2 port or the 1st? if you put it on the first, then it can cause both to show bad...if it's on the 2nd, make sure it's hooked up securely, clear ECU and try again...from there, time for new o2 sensors

and if you are wondering, the tune from either place mentioned above will fix the prob by turning off the o2 sensor codes (you have an ORP, not like it really matters anyways).

thanks for the info i think i am going to go with a diablo predator and also will i still need to replace the first O2 sensor if it is bad thanks for your time
