First off

As far as mods there are many available whether it be cosmetic or performance....take a look around the forums and you'll see. As far as the most popular beginner mods they'd be an intake and possibly a tune, especially for svt's (do a search and you'll learn all about it). You'll love the svtf, at least I do .

welcome, and congrtas on your new purchase. i'm sure you will LOVE it to death as i do. as for suggestions, i'd say go with a tune either from SCT(hypnotic, or focus sport) or Diablo (Tom) these people that i mentioned are really good tuners and excellent with customer service. besides the tune, you can get yourself a steeda short throw shifter, and a rear engine mount which complent each other very nicely, it actually makes you feel more connected to the car and also it feels alot more sturdy compared to the stock stuff. if your in it for just power adders than get yourself a highflow cat from mcnews, and you can get yourself a Cold air intake which adds like 3-5hp. if your just going bolt on's it's not gonna net you much hp/tq, so if you want alot of hp/tq go with a turbo from tom namely, because he has the best setup out there but it's on the pricey side. anyways hope this helps and happy modding

Digital cameras are always nice mods
Welcome to the site! There are a billion topics about mods and what ones are better to start off with. Do you care about your warranty? Are you into more go than show? Perhaps a little more info. And what exhaust do you have, thermal? I'd like to see that. Again, welcome!

Nice! Is it polished all the way? Never seen it before. Me I could care less about warranty but I understand that the majority do care. Let's see, some great first mods that I hear nothing but good stuff about would be a short shifter, steeda I think, motor mounts, of course a tune, and lighter wheels. Any pictures of your car?

Start with a drop in filter or go with a Short Ram setup. Remove the side resonator from the airbox ( called the snorkel ), it'll give the car some roar.

Get the STS ( short throw shifter ) from Steeda, shouldn't mess with any warranty ( unless you break something on the shift linkage installing it, which should be near impossible if you follow the instructions ) and will vastly improve the driving dynamics.

Add the lower engine mount ( trans mount ), which again won't mess with warranty unless installed improperly.

you can wait on the intake and such if you want, FWIW I had a CAI and have never been messed with by the dealer. It all depends on who you're dealing with up there.

The best mod really is the tune though.
