New SVT owner.

OK, I have several questions....
1.How many SVT Focuses were made in 02?
2.What's a common 1/4 mile time, and 1/8 mile time?
3.Stock fwhp?
4.Any recalls?

I'd really appreciate this guys, and I would like to feel welcome here, I'm new to the SVT game, and Focus game...So, help me out here. Thanks alot.

Stock HP hovers in the 137-142 range.

There's a breakdown by year somewhere on this board, I think the number is something like 1000+ for both ( red/blue interiors )

Stock 1/4's are usually around the mid-high 15 second range, with some freaks/midget drivers pulling high 14's low 15's ( probably BS though or the track is downhill haha ) Don't know about 1/8 mi but I'd wager a mid 10 would be about right.

As I learned, you dont buy this car because its quarter mile king, you buy it for the handling, and the extra 30 hp and 6 speed (although a bit notchy, i still love it) are just icing on the cake :) When I first got the car I was a bit dissapointed with the power (granted its a LOT more if you are used to regular small cars such as corollas/cavaliers and etc) but I now find myself going into corners about twice as fast as I did before.

Well the 137 FWHP seems a little low as I have seen almost 157whp with a few hundred miles on the odometer "BONE STOCK". At 17% drivleline loss thats around 183 or so crank HP. That number was the average out of 4 pulls and corrected.

That would be money not well spent.
