BAP question

Just installed a boost a pump in my 03 SVT, everything is hooked up correct according to a really nice thread from a fellow FF. I don't have the pressure switch wired connected, other than that, everything looks good. Thing is I have the same voltage coming out of the BAP as I do going in (no raise in voltage) and my fuel gage on my rail is at a steady 34psi with or without the BAP connected. Also moving the dial on the remote has no affect. Any ideas?

You have to connect the psi switch thats what activates the B-A-P , twist them together and you should see a change

Yeah I did that... blew the fuze, and the shorted out the pump, pulled them apart and the fuze didnt pop but the pump was already shot. Replaced those last night, dont really wanna connect those two again lol Any idea why it would pop the fuze/pump?

unless it was a coincidence that the pump shorted out, popping the fuse at the same time I had those connected together. But I did try another fuse before looking at anything else, and it popped that one too. Then disconnected the two leads, and the fuse did not pop.

Those wires that go to the psi switch will be connected when you make boost anyway so at some point if your going to use it they will get connected

I never use the psi switch and connect them then use the dial to adjust , some use a micro switch so when they go full throttle it turns on the pump

Not much, at most 320 if even that. Im just wanting to get as much fuel as I can to the injectors. Ill check all my connections again then connect those two again and see what happens. Maybe the pump happen to burn out coincidentally.
