HKS myths dispelled!!!

Finally got my HKS High Power installed about two hours ago. Great news for all the haters. The one for the regular zx3 goes underneath the rear axle, they made ours right! It goes over the rear suspension just like every other catback for the SVTF. Let me tell you the sound is phenominal, a lot lower than any thing I have heard for our rides. I have heard the Borla and the MRBP and they both had this metallicy/tingy sound to them. The HKS comes out of the loins of the SVTF from idle all the way to redline. I was really impressed, alot more than I had expected. The guys at my local speed shop installed it in about 30 minutes. As soon as I get light tommorrow I WILL POST PICS, since no one else has yet! The diameter for the HKS is 2.4 inches and the Borla is 2.5. Do the math people 1/10th of an inch wont make a s#&% of difference unless you are trying to hit 400+hp!! Later...

It does come out at an angle and it fits perfectly into the rear diffuser on the lower portion of our bumper. It looks really hot. Im probably going to go driving again 2nite, I just cant get enough of that sound.

are you sure your local shop didn't just give you a cheap replica exhaust with an hks muffler on it? I believe the hks hyper goes under the axel even on the svt, can't wait to see the pics though.

ANYWAY DAN

Yes all focus exhausts must be cut right in front of the rear axle. Dan I ordered it from overboost.com It came in the original boxes from japan. It has all this japanese writing all over it. I just had Speed Fetish install it bro.
