Question Ford Racing UDP

Are the Ford Racing UDP for the ZX3 the same for the SVTF? I just picked my Crank UDP kit up from ford and it says ZX3 but the guy told me they are the same on both the ZX3 and SVTF, is this true?

Yes, that is true, I have the Ford Racing UDP and the box was marked ZX3. I bolted it up and love it so far!!

not difficult at all

need a 15mm wrench to move the tensioner, a 10mm socket to remove the splash guard over the crank pulley, an 18mm socket to remove the crank pulley bolt (you really need an air tool for this, otherwise you end up turning your motor backwards and you can mess up the camshaft timing), an 8mm to remove the lower timing cover (only two small bolts), and you need something to grind down the lip on the lower timing cover so the belt doesn't get cut up on the cover - a file ought to do it, but it'll take a little time. it took me about 10 minutes to install a crank underdrive pulley, but I have a lift at the shop and an array of air tools to get the job done.
