live wire Probs =(

Well after a short 14378 miles my car has spent the last two days in the shop. The wire set that I got and have had on my car for a little more than 10k of those miles gave up the ghost on monday night after dropping my date off at her house (fortunately she (the car) didn't act up till I was on my way home). So unfortunately I have to put the stock ones back on and charge me a diagnostic fee......

The only problem I have had is that gapping the plugs to .065 was a little much. I need to back them down to .060.

Many people have said the same thing. I would think it is a plug issue over a wire issue but that is just my .02

I have had them on for around 500 miles, one thing i noticed is the mileage is down by around 8 mpgs avg. So i think i may need to check the gap on the plugs, other than that things seem fine.

My MPG dropped too. I think it is due to the gap being too much. I will find out this weekend when I gap down my plugs and log some data to send to Tom.

Hey Fellows,
I noticed an increase in mileage with my SD/LW setup. Also,I did have a problem with my first SD coil. It went bad and my SVT had a rough idle and surging until 2500 rpm when it would clear up and drive normal until 5500 rpm when the stuter would start again. I had Steeda Motorsports replace the SD for FREE as it comes with a 1yr manufacturer warranty from Performance Distributors.
Hope this helps

I have had mine on for around 9k miles now, no problems so far with them and have mine gapped at .065. Also I definetly have gained mpg with them, at least 1.5-2mpg on average.

If your not getting better mpg (and driving the same as before) then I would check you gap to make sure you did not go past .065, and even if you think you did not I'd back the gap down to .062 or so and try that.

I am sure I didnt gap them too far but it could also be due to something else. I am going to log some data and send it to Tom so maybe he can tell me something more.
