bellhousing

I've got a 2003 SVT and the clutch blew out and destroyed the bellhousing. Ford is denying warranty claim due to abuse. The car only has 8,000 miles. Heres the problem. I need to buy a bellhousing and Ford said it is not available alone. Only as a whole transmission purchase. I would prefer an aftermarket blowproof. I checked into getting the old one welded up but too far gone.
Anyone know where to get one??

Wow, Ford is denying your warranty? I would take it to another dealer and see what they say. That really sux man, but get a second opinion...with 8k miles tha tis rediculous. Do you have any extensive mods on your car?

The only way to replace the bellhousing is to replace the transaxle. It is an integral part of the gearbox housing and the two halfs are machined together for clearances.

You need to talk to SVT, there is history of the flywheels coming apart and doing exactly what happened to you (the TSB for clutch/transmission rattle is also in responce to the flywheel problems) This is why I installed an aluminum flywheel 2 years ago in my car, the light weight is nice but they don't blow up!!

Did they hook it up to the service tester and see a HUGE over rev on the ECU? If there is nothing over 7200 I don't know how they can claim abuse unless the pressure plate and flywheel are blue from heat.
