My Next Mod????

Hey how is everyone. I just had a quick question. I just installed my steeda sts last fri now im hungry to mod some more. So what should my next mod be. Im looking for the best bang for the buck. I was thinking about a intake but i dont know if it would even be worth it. What do you guys think about an intake? My two choices are either a FS Cool Flo or AEM Cai. Or I was thinking about something else maybe some tuning from hypnotic or amazon or something. Let me know what you guys think. As always thanks for all of your time and input in advance.

Ricky

I'd go with the AEM CAI as a good start with performance, won't be disappointed. If you want another feel good transmission wise, a VF rear engine mount would be good. Can't really go wrong with a tune if you have the money to spend on one. Other then that, it's up to you. FC ORP if you don't have to worry about the laws and your off and running. Good luck.

If you want a really good intake, I'd go with the Volant or PiperCross ;) But for any mod that you want to get or are considering to get, it all really depends on what kind of budget you're dealing with. Congrats on the STS.

Cheers!

volant won't work for the SVT and i think the pipercross is too expensive...you won't get that much gain from it anyways. you can't go wrong with either the cool flo or the aem cai. if you're not worried about the water then get the aem cai. but if you can afford a tune then i would go with that first.

^^^ My bad, I was under the impression that the Volant was good for any focus model, except for the Duratec. Thanks.

Cheers!

AEM CAI is dirty, I got it and love it adds a nice boost to the cars power through the RPM's. I also got the STS and love it. Id say get both the CAI and chip I got the Diablo Sport Preditor and its retarted makes the car run amaizing.

i was thinking about the either the amazon or hypnotic tune. the only thing is if I get a tune now am I gonna have to send off to get an updated tune when I do more to my car. I didnt know if it came with the software for $345 or if it was just a one time flash.

Here's what I would do ... get either the VF mount or the prothane inserts, Ford Racing or Esslinger UDP, AEM CAI and a tune (I got mine form Wayne at Hypnotic Illusions) and your set. IMHO, I wouldn't waste my money on an ORP, their illegal (I think it's a felony because it's Federal, but I could be wrong) and kill's low end torque from what I have read on this forum ... but that's just me, I wouldn't put one on my car but to each his or her own.
