Well... I just orded my HKS and I am kind of glad that many of you don't like it or are afraid of the HKS exhaust. I just don't want to be like the 90% of you that have borla of magnaflow. With HKS you will be able to distinguish the difference as you get more mods.

Yes you will be able to distinguish it, the HKS will hinder your future mods cause of the pipe diameter as well as other things. Your 110% correct that on that point.

You're right...ummm...is your car white? It should be, with all that rice...

Just kidding. Honestly though, that thing is hideous. Everytime I see one of those I can't help but think "compensation". I mean seriously, its a fallick symbol (it bends right too).

The HKS has a pipe diameter of 2.16" I believe is the number which is not much more then the stock system. Getting more and more mods, finishing up the exhaust, etc, you won't be able to 'flow' as much, the exhaust is restricted. Explains why most people tend to go with a BORLA SVT system (2.5" exhaust). Also if you ever were thinking of FI (turbo, supercharging, etc) that will SEROUSLY restrict you. Most heavy FI applications go with a 3" setup.

As well as those facts above, if you want to read more about it, please visit the thread below which outlines EVERYTHING.

S2... Untill you can get an SVT you should go to a different fourm and put your 2cents in. If you still have stock exhaust you really can't judge HKS, I will accept your opinion anyways.
