Is this svt clutch good?

Clutch went out on my 160k mile 2003 svt
I need something to replace it but don't have the money to buy brand new (in high school)
I found this one for $140
Owner says it had 40k miles on it
Was taken out because the car was totaled.

Does it still look decent? don't know enough about it to tell how good of shape its in...
Defiantly feel like i can change it my self though

I wouldn't throw a used clutch in, but that's me. Have you checked Luk clutches on eBay heard they can be had for cheap.

I'm sure I've seen new SVT clutch kits for $350-ish.

I would save for a new clutch kit including the slave cylinder, that wouldn't be a job you would want to do or have done twice. If money is super tight it would be better if you could see the $140 clutch in person... and get them to come down on the price.

edit:
I found this with a quick ebay search. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LUK-07-175-C...de6d4e&vxp=mtr

Also Steve at Autonation Ford says that this is the only place that he's seen SVT kits with Ford stampings on it. http://www.clutchcityonline.com/ford_focus.htm

Why buy used? Risk it and have to replace it again 1-2 years later. Buy new and replace everything. Dont have the money? Save it, cant save? borrow it. Just like brakes, dont cheap out on a clutch

You can get a LUK 07-175 from Rockauto for around $350 shipped.
