You actually already have a good header...and no reason to replace it. For increased performance, currently your only option is to add an off road pipe. The ORP replaces your catalytic convertor http://www.focus-central.com/catalog...sp?sid=&cid=2.

ditto! Except the Offroad pipe is illegal on a street registered vehicle! But it is bad ass when it comes to adding power and noise!

According to the Focus Tuners Guide the FC race header add about 7 whp on a SVT.

You'll need to replace everything exhaust related if you go with an aftermarket header on the SVT, at this time.

the offroad pipe replaces the cat, so instead of the cat pipe, ud have a offroad pipe. It lets more air flow through since the cat pipe doesnt allow that because the cat pipe is the one thing on the exhaust system that will make u lack power because it has things in it that allow your car to be pollution free. there are aftermarket cats that r better tho.

You might gain 7 WHP with the FC header, but my guess is you'd lose a bunch of low end and midrange torque. The factory Tri-Y design is ideal for a broad torque curve. The FC race header is a shorty Tri-Y. I guess it would be a reasonable swap if you didn't care about low RPM performance.

Kar Kraft claims to have OEM SVT headers for $159.95. I'm thinking about buying one and having it thermal barrier coated.

I doubt the header adds anything, from people that have tried have said they have had only losses trying different headers.
