So this summer I had a wicked power steering rack leak. The RH seal was leaking but the RH boot is tight. So the fluid ran down the transfer tube to the LH side where the boot leaks and dripped all over.
The leak has since gone away completely. I'm convinced it was due to high PS temps because my header heat shield is missing and that tube (can't remember if supply or return) runs directly over that super hot header....
Anyhow, I've recently noticed a few drops of coolant on the ground on the RH side of the engine compartment. Last oil change I noticed a drip of coolant on the RH halfshaft boot.
But, when I warm the engine up and pressurize the cooling system with a tester not only does the pressure not drop but I can't see a leak anywhere....just the signs that a leak exists (drips on halfshaft boot).
I've heard the oil coolers on these can leak and it makes sense because of how the hoses are sorta in the way of the oil filter...
But I've also heard they are discontinued? I'll keep trying to find the leak with conventional methods but just looking for info about the failure rate and part availability in the meantime

I've heard of people using an oil cooler from an escape and rigging it up. I believe the metal elbows on the cooler rust thru causing leak. there is a tutorial on fj.com to make the escape cooler work, might need to add some fittings.
Or contact Steve at tousley ford and he will be able to get you what you need. I also heard the cooler is discontinued.
