HELP QUICK! Car won't start after disconnecting battery!

In an effort to reset my check engine light, I disconnected the negative terminal for about thirty seconds. After reconnecting it I went to start the car and the ODO displays "- - - - -" and it won't start???

What the hell did I do? All the fuses under the hood seem ok....

You either have a bad connection with one of the wires on the batt (small ones) fuse blown for the ECU or you set the PATS , thats about the only thing that will cause the ----- to come on other then a bad ECU
