Cams vs. JRSC

I don't know which to get so I need some opinions and good insight. The cams with the flasher are much cheaper than the JRSC and have significant gains. I think with a cai and cams the SVT is looking at 172ish + hp to the wheels. Now that is nowhere near the 200ish whp for the JRSC but I have not been impressed with the 1/4 mile times from the JRSC. Most are running very high 14's. There are a few exceptions in the mid to low 14's but the ones in that range have the 42# injectors; Coincidence? One the guys who had the prototype cams in his car stated that comparing the cammed SVT to the JRSC SVT that the cammed car seemed faster. Now n/a is great but I am wondering if just most of the JRSC users did not switch to bigger injectors if that is why they are running very high 14's? Or now that the new SCT flashers have a program for the JRSC will times improve? Ok I am rambling now and probably not making much sense, so any insight here will help me. What do you guys think?

If you are talking about future modifications then I can try to reply since no cams are out for the SVT yet.

As far as how much you would be putting down to the wheels with the CAI and Cam (when it happens), I think you will put down like 165 whp max. Stock, most SVTs put down 156 whp.

I think that any type of boost is good for the SVT. It might not be extraordinary boost but if you are not gonna go for a $3000 turbo budget, I think it's a good option.

Paix...

If, and when cams are released for the SVT, it should break 180whp with a good flash.

I think that tom said that the stock JRSC runs rich in the low rpms and lean in the high rpms and said that instead of the black box you should use bigger injectors, tune, and a new maf...

Well as far as what size injectors people are running I'd say most are running the stocks since the JRSC is tested with everything stock on the car. Anything else that you but on is just more power. Focus central does have a boost upgrade kit for the JRSC that gets you 15whp for pretty cheap. If your looking for a drag car you should of bought something else. If you want a drag car out of your focus get a turbo or one of the higher priced S/C like the procharger kit.

I am not looking for a drag car. My 5.0 on the bottle was a drag car; I want a 14 second quick little daily driver. Not a drag car. thank you have a nice day.
