flex pipe

Ok here in Africa is very difficult getting aftermarket tuning parts for the focus St 170 , I was looking at the cfm flex pipe ,how is the power gains n is it a worth wile mod. However shipping will kill me , so I was thinking if I got a bigger flex from our powerflow zhorst manufacturers will it help n if yes , how should it be designed like size in mm , mild steel or stainless etc

flex pipe? prob .5-1hp at the most... or maybe even nothing. gains are really noticed when used in conjuction with an ORP and complete exhaust system...

now off road racing pipe? the one that deletes your cat conv. = prob 5-6whp, even more if tuned!

its the orp you want... the cat delete pipe... that with the flex pipe. although not necesarry. the flex pipe is almost 2.5'' and it was a perfect flange match with my 2.5'' orp and 2.5'' magnaflow flex back system, no leaks or power loss.

i still have the oem flexpipe and wont prob change it, not necessary, waste of $120 IMO
