SVT surging at idle

Ok so our SVT is doing this thing where it surges at idle. We did a full tune up thinking that would help but it still does it. Almost sounds as if the car is loping and has aftermarket cams in it. This is our first svt so not sure if this is a normal thing for it or if somethings wrong that we can't find. Will post a video here shortly. Thanks

is it a "rolling idle" ? because if so then your problem would likely be a vacuum line

rolling idle is like the car is revving up on its own...i dont know about the aftermarket cam sound

YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Heres a video, its not very good but you can slightly hear it. It doesn't sound like surging to me but thats how my husband describe it. If you sit in the car the rpms don't move at all. It sits there steady but you can still hear it.

jesus what kinda oil are you running? that shit is tapping like CRAZY.

that sounds like a timing/internal head issue. injectors and spark plugs good?

did he pull the valve cover and look at the head?

Yeah we pulled the valve cover and everything looked fine. It was all clean so it must have gotten regular oil changes. We just changed the oil and put full synthetic. My husband thinks there is starting to think there is a vacuum leak. The car runs fine, its just the idle that is weird..Haven't checked the injectors yet.

its not throwing you any cel's?

if it is a vacuum leak you can find it with carb cleaner or somehtign that chokes the engine. spray it all over the hoses one at a time if it chokes while doing this you will have found the leak.

but that video sounds like a cam timing issue have you checked compression? even though if it was something like cams or compression it should have a cel

No its not throwing cels at all. We're starting to think it may be o2 sensors..The car is doing absolutely horrible on gas. We got 200 miles to a full tank of gas. Our sedan kind of sounds the same in the mornings when you first start it and it has thrown cel for o2 sensors. His step father is a mechanic and said that the pre cat o2 sensor is known for going bad and not throwing a cel. We're gonna go ahead and change them and the fuel filter and see if it still has it. My husband is also gonna do a compression test on it.

The video also makes it sound a lot worse then it actually is..
