possible miss or hesitation on 03 svt

so just recently i had to let the horses run and when i floored it it was pretty much fine through first, but then in second it kind of jumped or missed it seemed like, but my gas mileage is still pretty much the same right around 26-29 ish depending on highway speeds and such...just curious if anyone else has had this problem or not? im still unfortunately running the stock tune, but didnt know if that had anything to do with it or not...help please!

I would not trust the dealer at all, I would put a set of Motorcraft sp-463 plugs in it and get a new set of wires (I have taylor 8.2mm) if they look like stock ones, also I hope the timing belt was changed at some point.

And if the plugs and wires look ok check your coil, I changed mine when the car had similar mileage to yours and it ran so much better afterwards(and my car wasn't acting up at all prior to changing it).

Well, if it was a dealer job you'll have motocraft wires and motocraft wires have a mfg date on them.

Check the ground wire at the lifting eye to the left of the fuel rail. Fixed my misfire.
