$10.88 intake, its easy!

here it is. cost me 10 buck for the tube and it comes with 2 clamps. Takes 5 minutes to install.
i got the tube from home depot. its silicone so no need to buy silicone adapters. U can us the bottom half of the stock box so no need to get a new breather filter. I love it.

tell me what u think.

i think yours is longer but yeah they have a straight piece that i think is long enough for like 4 dollars. Yeah i can hear it. you can actually make it work with the sock air box if you want that sleepers look.

sure you can.... on ours you just need the filter. then pull of the stock air box and put the filter on the end of the MAF. 76 mm or 3"

actually you dont want to just put on the filter because the stock tube is very small and restrictive.

Its as small as the throttle body which is the next bottleneck. Having a 5" intake pipe and running it into a stock t/b wont get you any more gains. Thats why people buy the bigger t/b and port the intake manifold. So his idea work with the stock tube.....

well i dont have a zx3 but i know the svt tube is like 2 inches wide and isnt very straight flowing. Its a 3" tube, not 5" (thats acutally pretty funny) and if the stock tube was good enough why do they sell intakes and not just filters? i dont know, maybe i smoked crack.

Well, it's not really a $10.88 intake. It's a $10.88 piece of pipe with a 20 dollar filter.

real gains? what did i feel in my butt when i drove? I dont think i sat on anything. Look at the K&N aircharger. Its a 3" pipe with a 90 degree bend that they sell for 250 dollars. I would rather use the money for something else.
