Svt timing belt

I am planning on changing timing belt on my svt focus. I was wondering if anyone has service manual or instructions for it. I have done it on my ZX3 but I don't know if it is the same on svt.

Mine has about 150k miles and I don't know if previous owner changed it. I took the side cover off to see if there was any wear on the belt but it looked good to me. I don't want to take a risk especially on this interference engine. I will be ordering either OEM belt or gate racing belt soon.

Oh my gawd, y'all are just asking for it, change those belts ASAP!!!

Oh and it's not that hard there are how-to's on here somewhere. Also if you get the gates blue racing belt b prepared for it to get dirty, cause that's what's going to happen. Here is the thread I made about my blue belt.

My pretty new BLUE timing belt!!

You will need the bar for the cams and the pin for the crankshaft, I got mine from C-F-M, you should def. replace the Idler pully and tensioner as well, and the other oddball tools will be a T55 torx bit for the exhaust cam and a E18 torx socket for the intake cam, which I got from NAPA for around $8. Do a search of this site for SVT timing belt replacement and you should pull up at least one w/photos, I did this and followed the instuctions to the letter and everything turned out fine. It is similar to the zx3, but the intake cam has a cover that unscrews from the intake cam(T55 torx), put a cup underneath as you unscrew because oil will run out, when you look inside the cover you will see the bolt that requires the E18 socket.

Did you have any other issue with your gates blue belt? I don't care if it gets dirty. All I care about is reliability.

I have the bar and pin that I bought for my ZX3. Can it be done without touching those bolts?

I've had no issues with it at all. I'll go take some pics of what it looks like right now after it's had some miles on it. I think it looks a little cleaner now it's worn some the grease and grime off. Here is a pic for now till I get some more later. It's not really good but you can see it in the corner of the pic
